There is also support for children via the Acorns Project, which meets at the Linskill Centre in North Shields. The Acorns project is open to children and young people between the ages of 6 and 18 years who live in North Tyneside and who are living with the effects of domestic violence. The project welcomes all children and young people within the age range and area regardless of their race, culture, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation.
